Betting Rules
These Betting Rules explain how wagers are placed, accepted, settled and reviewed at Casinonic. They should be read together with the applicable Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Responsible Gambling information. By using the betting services, you agree to follow these rules and any requirements that apply to your account, location and selected market.
1. General betting conditions
Casinonic provides betting services subject to applicable laws, platform rules and the conditions displayed on the relevant betting page. Betting is available only to people who are legally permitted to participate in gambling in their location. You must make sure that your use of the service is lawful before placing a wager. Access may be restricted or unavailable in some locations, and Casinonic may apply additional verification or account requirements where appropriate.
You must be at least the minimum legal gambling age that applies to you and must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating or using an account. An account must be used only by the registered account holder. You must keep login credentials secure and must not allow another person to place bets through your account. Casinonic may suspend or restrict an account where it reasonably believes that these rules, applicable law or account security requirements have not been followed.
A bet is a transaction made using the funds or betting balance available in your account. You are responsible for checking the event, market, selection, stake, odds and any displayed conditions before confirming a wager. Once a bet has been submitted, it may be accepted, rejected, amended or cancelled in accordance with these rules and the information shown on the platform.
- Only one person may use an individual account.
- You must not place bets on behalf of another person or permit another person to use your account.
- You must not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, manipulation or any attempt to bypass account controls.
- You should review your balance and betting history regularly and report anything that appears incorrect or unauthorised.
- You are responsible for understanding the risks of gambling and for keeping your wagering within a level you can afford.
2. Placing and accepting bets
Available events, markets, selections and odds may change at any time. Information displayed on the platform is provided to help you make a betting decision, but it may be delayed, incomplete or subject to correction. You should confirm all details at the time a wager is placed. A bet is generally considered accepted only when it has been recorded in your account or shown in your betting history as accepted. A request shown as pending is not necessarily an accepted bet.
Casinonic may decline, limit, void or correct a bet where there is an obvious error, a technical problem, an incorrect price, an incorrect market description or another circumstance that affects the integrity of the wager. Where possible, the affected bet will be reviewed using the information available at the relevant time. A correction may apply to the odds, selection, stake or settlement where this is necessary to reflect the intended market or the applicable rules.
You must have sufficient available funds for the stake and any other amount required before a wager can be accepted. A bet may not be accepted if the account balance, payment method, verification status or other account condition does not permit it. A displayed balance is not a guarantee that a particular wager will be accepted. If a payment is later reversed, declined or identified as unauthorised, associated bets may be reviewed and the account may be restricted.
Bet types and combinations
The platform may offer different bet types, including single bets, combination bets and other markets. The terms shown for a particular bet type apply in addition to these general rules. Some selections may not be combined because of market restrictions, related outcomes or system limitations. If a combination is not permitted, it may be rejected or adjusted before acceptance. The potential return displayed at the time of placement is subject to the final acceptance and settlement of the wager.
Live and in-play betting
Live betting markets can change quickly and may be suspended while an event is in progress. Delays can occur between an event happening and information appearing on the platform. A bet placed during a suspension, after a material change or during a technical delay may be rejected or reviewed. You should not assume that a displayed live price is current until the bet is confirmed as accepted.
3. Events, results and settlement
Bets are settled using the official result or outcome determined by the relevant event organiser, competition authority or other reliable source. The applicable market wording determines how a result is interpreted. A result may be changed after an initial announcement where the relevant authority issues an official correction. Unless the market rules state otherwise, later changes may not affect a bet that has already been settled.
Each market can have special conditions covering postponements, cancellations, abandoned events, venue changes, participant withdrawals, disqualifications, dead heats, ties, no contests and other unusual circumstances. You should read the market information before placing a wager. Where a market-specific rule is silent, Casinonic may apply a reasonable outcome based on the official result and the purpose of the market.
- A postponed or abandoned event may remain open, be rescheduled or be declared void, depending on the relevant market conditions.
- A cancelled event will generally be reviewed under the rules for that market and may not produce a winning or losing result.
- If a participant does not take part, the treatment of the bet depends on the selected market and its stated conditions.
- A dead heat or tied result may affect the return and may be settled according to the applicable dead-heat provisions.
- A market can be corrected if it was settled using an incorrect result or a clear data error.
Returns are calculated according to the accepted stake, applicable odds and the result of the market. Any displayed estimate is subject to final settlement. Where a bet includes more than one selection, the result of each selection may affect the overall outcome. You should check your betting history after settlement and retain any information needed to raise a query.
4. Cancellations, disputes and responsible play
A submitted bet cannot usually be changed or cancelled by the customer after acceptance. In limited circumstances, a cancellation may be available through a feature displayed on the platform, but availability is not guaranteed and may depend on the market, timing and account status. A request to cancel does not take effect unless the platform confirms it.
If you believe a bet has been accepted, settled or displayed incorrectly, review the market information and your account history first. You may then raise the matter through the available support or complaints process. Include the relevant bet reference, event, market, date and a clear explanation of the issue. Casinonic may ask for additional information to verify the account and investigate the matter. Reviews are conducted using account records, transaction data, market information and available official results.
You should gamble for entertainment only and never chase losses. Set a personal budget and time limit before you begin, take regular breaks and avoid betting when affected by alcohol, stress or other circumstances that may affect your judgement. Gambling should not be treated as a way to make money or solve financial problems. If gambling is no longer enjoyable or is causing concern, stop using the service and seek appropriate support.
- Use available deposit, spend, loss or session controls where offered.
- Consider taking a break or requesting account restrictions if you feel your betting is becoming difficult to manage.
- Do not borrow money to gamble or use funds needed for essential expenses.
- Talk to someone you trust if gambling is affecting your finances, relationships, work or wellbeing.
- Check the Responsible Gambling information for further guidance and available support options in Australia.
These rules may be updated when the service, markets, legal requirements or operational processes change. The current version published on the website applies to future use and, where permitted, to matters not yet finally settled. If any part of these rules conflicts with applicable law, the law prevails to the extent of the conflict. By continuing to use Casinonic, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the rules relevant to your betting activity.
